Checklist to Reduce Mosquito Breeding on Your Property - The MoCo Show

The City of Rockville provided the following tips to prevent mosquito breeding on your property during the warmer months.

“Mosquito species that have the potential to spread viruses prefer to breed in small amounts of standing water near where people live and work. They typically do not breed in natural areas like streams and ponds.

Where to Check:

Note: Mosquito species of concern typically do not fly more than 150 yards from where they breed.”
